The endorsement season is in full swing. This morning (Monday) one of the three men running in the Republican primary for the 79th State House District picked up the backing of a couple of political heavyweights. Probably to no-one's surprise, US representative Fred Upton - and the man he is hoping to replace in Lansing, John Proos, have thrown their support behind Al Pscholka. Upton - in a press release - says Al "brings a great deal of experience and a proven track record in getting results for constituents and businesses in Southwest Michigan". Pscholka had already picked up the endorsements of State Senator Ron Jelinek and former State Senator Harry Gast.
